The Accountability Equation™ will take you on a journey, moving you from overwhelmed practice owner to knowledgeable CEO. It has 5 core concepts within its flow, called The 5 As.
The Accountability Equation™ is not an overnight solution. It’s a journey. It’s an entire group practice operations framework that, when implemented, has the potential to create structure, accountability, and profitability in your practice – and make it feel like minimal effort.
I’m here to support you as you and your team implement this framework. Check out each of the 5 A's and the program content structure:
Before we begin the 5 A's we'll go over the framework and overview of each stage of the program and prep you with materials to help you get started.
Video 1: Welcome and Intro into AE
Video 2: Goals for AE and differentiating factors to this accountability program
Video 3: Overview of the 5As
Video 4: Accountability Blueprint
Video 5: Your Accountability Tracker for AE
You’ll start your journey by defining the foundational functions, roles, and responsibilities that are most critical to keeping your practice operational day to day.
Making sure all the key functions are covered and eliminating work that doesn’t provide value is the starting point to building a team and a practice that operates efficiently and effectively.
VIDEO 1: Intro into Assemble and walk through/support for ‘Creating Your Roles and Functions’
VIDEO 2: Roles and Functions Matrix walk through/support
Video 3: Common obstacles Assembling your R+F
Once you know the core functions and roles, you will assess your current staff to make sure you have the right people in the right seat. If you’re going to achieve true accountability, the leaders you put in place need to not only “get” their role and be capable of doing it, but they also need to understand how to lead others.
In the Assess phase, you will conduct a variety of business and leadership assessments designed to help you place the right people in the right seats to ensure the success of your practice.
VIDEO 1: Intro to Assess and into using ‘Tenets of a Great Leader’ and application of these in business
VIDEO 2: Leadership Self Assessment
VIDEO 3: Business Leadership Assessment
VIDEO 4: Interview Questions for Leadership
VIDEO 5: Common obstacles when Assessing your team (Wrong person/role/not putting 2+ people into a role)
When you’ve selected your ideal leadership team, you’ll need to define what success in their role looks like. In the Assign phase, you’ll clearly define the parameters that each function and role will be measured against. This keeps staff focused on what matters most and gives them real time feedback as to how they are doing and if it’s moving the practice in the right direction.
Other elements in the Assign phase are creating coaching plans for success – helping your leaders lead their own staff and hold them accountable. We will also cover how to implement anti-oppressive accountability measures to honor your values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
VIDEO 1: Intro to Assign then into ‘Creating Your Accountability Tracker Meeting’
VIDEO 2: Common Accountabilities
VIDEO 3: Quarterly Goals that support accountabilities
VIDEO 4: The Coaching Path
VIDEO 5: Antioppression in Coaching and Accountability Setting
VIDEO 6: Common obstacles in Assigning (Resistance to accountability setting by team)
Auditing means putting a system in place to regularly measure the practice’s performance – keeping everything moving in the right direction. No more surprises.
I’ve put together a comprehensive set of templates recommending key metrics in administrative, clinical, HR, and onboarding every group practice owner should be measuring.
VIDEO 1: Intro to Audit and then into KPI List and how it interacts with dashboard
VIDEO 2-7 are the folders from the person who built the dash
Where most frameworks fall short is in the follow through. Developing systems and structure is only a piece of the equation. You and your team actually need to use the systems regularly to make them effective.
As part of your Action Plan, you will get templates for incorporating these systems and structures into your daily and weekly operations.
VIDEO 1: Intro to Action Plan then into Leadership Agenda Explanation
VIDEO 2: Leadership Agenda
This section will be all about understanding what an integrator does, breaking down how they'll support cross functional teams, and your business, as you step our of your day to day operations. I'll dive into how you can fill these absurdly large shoes so you can feel ready to fully step back.
VIDEO 1: What does an integrator do
VIDEO 2: promoting from within or hiring externally

Hi. I’m Maureen Werrbach – owner of a 7+ figure group practice in the Chicago area with 4 successful locations and founder of The Group Practice Exchange — where I coach other group practice owners on building systems and designing their leadership to create their own thriving 7+ figure practices that can run themselves so you can do what you love most.
I’ve gone through all the trial and error finding what works so you don’t have to. I currently run 3 separate businesses and still make plenty of time for myself and my VIPs. And I couldn’t have done it without implementing this framework in my business.
In The Accountability Equation™, I’m sharing with you the exact framework I use to delegate the right things to the right people and hold them accountable for doing those things well.
These systems have allowed me to not only step away from the majority of the day-to-day, but to grow my practices and make the impact in my community I always thought I would make. With these systems in place, Urban Wellness is in a prime position to sell someday when I’m ready to exit the business.
Hey there! I’m Casey Gromer. I’m an MBA graduate with over 20 years experience working in business and marketing. I’m currently serving group practice owners as a business strategist and Fractional Integrator. I’m an expert at creating efficient systems that shave time and help practice owners like you reach success.
Maureen is one of my favorite clients. Together, we have perfected her team’s Accountability Chart and Performance Dashboard so that she rarely has to worry about what’s happening in the business.
Over the last several months, I’ve worked with multiple group practice owners who’ve asked for help structuring their teams and ensuring everyone is on the same page, doing their part to move the business forward – even when they aren’t owners or founders of the business.
This framework was designed using Maureen’s experience designing delegation systems that are working across the board. You’re going to see examples of what’s working for others and also be able to custom design the system that works best for your practice.
